OK ladies Sunday night food for thought. Have you heard of nutrigenetics? Would you consider doing a DNA test to see how your genetics effect the way your body processes different nutrients. Has anybody done this and to what purpose? Was it to find out what foods you can best use to detox with? Or build muscle mass? Or for another reason? Do you think there is any value in knowing this information? Would knowing that your body is better at metabolising red wine or complex carbs matter when you are choosing what to cook for dinner? I've been reading lots on DNA and how as our knowledge of our genetics grows so does the uses to which knowing our DNA identity can help with so much in our lives.
